There are also the associates like HIMSS and the American Telemedicine Association, American health information management association, the national association for behavioral health.
Some of the academic institutions like New York University, Cornell University, Penn State University have come forward. There are some health systems like Mayo Clinic, Mass General Brigham, Intermountain Healthcare, etc.
This group had rightly noted that the licensure flexibility during the pandemic had helped the professionals to expand their scope for treatment. However, many states have started to allow the declaration of the emergency expiration for the pandemic era, even though there is a crisis.
The organization has asked the state governors and the legislatures to continue with the flexibility and license throughout time. They have urged the experts to implement better solutions to address all the impacts of pandemics on care. They have also asked to expand the participation in the health professional compacts. It will allow for better and mutual recognition for health professional licensure.
