Patient engagement has been defined as “the extent to which patients take an active role in their health care” (1). In the digital age, patient engagement has taken on a new meaning. With the help of technology, patients are now able to be more involved in their health care than ever before.
Our platform helps patients get more engaged in their own care by providing them with access to their medical records, allowing them to communicate directly with their doctors, and giving them a forum to share their experiences with other patients. By giving patients a greater degree of control over their health care, we hope to empower them to take a more active role in managing their condition and improving their overall health. In addition, our platform provides patients with resources and support that they can use to make informed decisions about their treatment options.
